Welcome to Rub & Roll Barbecue!

You have come to a place where meat is not just an ingredient, taste is not just a one-time sensation and food isn`t just a simple dish. It is important for us to provide a full taste experience, with feelings that will last for weeks and months...a true little miracle.

Our professional knowledge comes from the most famous pitmasters in the USA, for whom barbecue is a separate genre, with a serious tradition, a lot of experience and culture behind it. So we brought you the unsophisticated American flavors, with American recipes and quality Hungarian ingredients.

But what is BBQ, how does the smoke come with it, and why can it run out?

Barbecue is a technique that is widespread mainly in the southern states of America, during which the meat is cooked slowly on wood or charcoal, indirectly (no direct contact with fire or ember), in hot smoke, at a constant low temperature (hot smoking), as opposed to traditional grilling.

The aim of our team at Rub&Roll is to give you the original flavors and taste experience gathered in the US as authentically as if you were personally tasting it in the homeland of barbecue. Based on the knowledge and experience we have acquired outside, our meats are also prepared for long hours, often all night long, smoked with applewood in a special BBQ oven, aka the smoker. Due to the long preparation time, we have a limited quantity each day. It's no different in America, and as we learned from the owner of Pappy's Smokehouse in St. Louis, a real BBQ restaurant closes when the meat runs out. This sounds rather unusual in Europe, but over there it’s an integral part of the barbecue culture. And barbecue knows no national borders - if you run out of meat prepared in the smoker, it will certainly run out. So come as soon as you can and experience the original taste of the southern states with us.

But why Rub & Roll?

Do you know how Rock and roll is described? Rebellion, freedom, individuality, talent, emotions. We are convinced that just like with Rock&roll, you can also be passionate about divine, special meats. But be careful! The BBQ feeling of life can easily become addictive, and once you're hooked, there's no stopping it - it just keeps rolling!
